Tim Asson is leaving Colliers International to join AOS Studley – the global occupier-focused real estate consultant. Asson, who has 30 year’s industry experience, will join as Director of Business Development & Transaction Management within AOS Studley’s Strategic Property Services (SPS) team, based in London.

Andrew Burt, MD of Strategic Property Services at AOS Studley said, “Tim has a solid track record of achieving results within the EMEA corporate services sector. His knowledge and experience will be hugely valuable to existing and prospective corporate clients. The SPS team at AOS Studley focuses on providing a single point of contact for corporate clients wishing to access the company’s workplace, real estate and project management teams in the EMEA region and Tim’s appointment is part of our growth strategy over the next 24 months.”

Tim Asson commented, “Joining AOS Studley is an exciting step. SPS is a dynamic, growing team which offers a rarity in the EMEA market - advising occupiers only. In this challenging environment, occupiers are increasingly demanding conflict-free advice to provide the best strategies, which AOS Studley is passionate about."

Gilles Betthauser, CEO of AOS Studley, said, “This appointment is part of a wider strategy to create a team of highly experienced professionals to support AOS Studley’s growth in EMEA. We are delighted to have secured somebody of Tim’s calibre.”

Tim has been at Colliers International for the past three years building its EMEA Corporate Solutions team. Before that, Tim ran the Corporate Solutions team at NB Real Estate (now Capita Symonds).

02.12.2011 - Spring4 joins AOS Studley

...

The Directors of Spring4 announced today that they have completed the sale of the business to and now become part of AOS Group. The London office will trade as AOS Spring4 and complete the strategic link to make AOS a global group where Spring4 will provide the essential transactional skills to complement AOS Group’s London workplace solutions team. Through the wider Group, AOS Spring4 will support the global office structure.

Hugh Stallard, one of the founding Directors of Spring4 commented “This is the start of an exciting new chapter of Spring4 after our first 9 years and becoming part of a global network dedicated primarily to occupier and tenant needs offers us the ability to provide our clients with a bigger and better platform for services including workplace consultancy. It also enables us to compete properly on a global scale. In a similar vein, it will be the final piece of AOS Group’s strategy of being able to service London and the UK”.

Gilles Betthaeuser, Chairman of AOS remarked “We are very pleased to have successfully closed this acquisition and to welcome Spring4 to AOS Group. Spring4 is the unique opportunity for us to consolidate and expand our operations in London and the UK and further our European and global presence."

Our teams across the region have superb in-depth knowledge of their clients and needs of occupiers generally, as well as cross border expertise and we will capitalise on this for the benefit of our clients. In addition we are not compromised in our advice as we only work for occupiers and therefore do not have a conflict of interest like many of our competitors.”

30.09.2011 - AOS Studley holds Round Table for HR Directors

The London 2012 Olympic Games: Will your organisation be prepared for the travel disruption?

...

The 2012 London Olympic Games will be the world’s largest sporting event with almost 9 million tickets sold, and the Paralympics are expected to attract an additional 1.8 million spectators. With over 3 million extra journeys estimated per day in London for the duration of around 100 days, an already exhausted transport network could face gridlock.

This will be a fantastic time for the exposure of UK Business, but with it will come a challenge for city firms to ensure their employees and clients can travel freely to and from their offices. City firms are being encouraged by the Government to find an immediate solution to keep their employees mobile and their businesses operating efficiently.

To hear what they are proposing to ensure business continuity during the Olympics, AOS Studley in partnership with TFL, e-work, and Cisco brought together heads of HR to share ideas, concerns and questions around the topic.
